I met with the CM yesterday evening and drew his attention to the
issue; he said a CBCID enquiry will be done
to check the source etc.,
This issue is pending since May first week with the Collector & SP
Srikakulam; the Christian community called me again after the second
consignment
was spotted when the Bibles etc., were strewn on the road that lead to
the KVR Paper Mills; the Lorry receipts are from a Waster Paper/Scrap
dealer in Rajamundry.,
many vague stories are circulating about Rajamundry, Tadepalligudem &
Bhimavaram; I have demanded that all Scrap dealers & Paper Mills
owners to steer clear of
CHRISTIAN Holy books and inform the Police of any transaction.
I appeal to our Christian brethren who maybe receiving such
consignments to take delivery or direct the same to any of the
theological colleges in the State who
will be richly blessed to receive such material.

The Women’s Reservation Bill passed in the Rajya Sabha in March is facing a very strong opposition even before it is placed in the Lok Sabha from many corners of our patriarchal society.

In order to fight this opposition and gather support for 33% reservation for women in the Parliament, Anhad, a Delhi based secular organization has taken the initiative to conduct a campaign of three Karwans - in which groups of supporters of the Women’s Reservation Bill will be traveling to various cities across India to hold public and press meetings.

Anglo Indian and christian finance

In view of the commencement of the COMPETITIVE EXAMS there is an URGENT NEED for the COMMUNITY TO HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION; of 185 proffessional seats reserved for the Anglo Indian Community in all Universities. This is indeed a bonanza for our microscopic minority and I am deeply grateful to the late Hon’ble CHIEF MINISTER Dr. YSR Garu and the Government of Andhra Pradesh who have in my 1st term accorded the Community many privileges and yet again the CONGRESS GOVERNMENT has come through to make every YOUNG ANGLO INDIAN - PROFFESIONAL. I believe in a decade’s time.
I appeal to the Anglo Indian community to take maximum advantage of the 20 seats in MBA, 33 SEATS IN MCA, PHARMACY-20 SEATS, ARCHITECTURE-16 SEATS AND MORE THAN 100 SEATS IN ENGINEERING including the existing MBBS-1 SEAT AND NOW 1 BDS-SEAT. I appeal to the EAMCET Conveners, The respective Vice Chancellors, the Registrars of all UNIVERSITIES to please make note of the GAZETTES released on Feb 20, 2009 and accord all assistance to the students who secure the best ranks in the various competive examinations.
I have appealed to the Managing Director of the Christian Finance Corporation to immediately arrange/release funds for the coaching classes. All Christian students are requested to register their names with their Church for the required coaching; I requested the Government time and again for a CHRISTIAN BHAVAN to house all the programs for the development of the Community.
I hope and request our clergy and people to pray that the 2 issues of the Pilgrimage and Repairs of Church & Mosques maybe taken up by the Government and obtain necessary stay orders as in the Supreme Court saty of 4% Reservation for our Muslim brethren.
The Christian Finance Corporation has a meager budget; the demands on Budget 2010 were gullotioned but my request from the inception is a demand for 30% of the budget for Minorities; still pending BUT I trust our Chief Minister will look into the grave needs of the Community and do the needful.
I appeal to you for release of this news item in your esteemed newspaper.
